What Is Persaura? The Personality-First Way to Meet People

Most social apps start with your face and your city. Persaura starts with how you think.

We built Persaura because we were tired of making connections that looked good on paper but felt hollow in practice. You can match with someone who's attractive, lives nearby, and has similar hobbies — and still have nothing real to say to each other. The missing ingredient isn't location or looks. It's cognitive compatibility: the way two people process the world.

What Persaura Actually Does

Persaura is a personality quiz platform. You take short, opinionated quizzes — not the bland "what's your favorite color" kind, but questions that reveal how you actually think. When would you keep a secret even if it hurt someone you love? Do you trust data or gut instinct? What does a perfect weekend look like to you?

Your answers get tagged with personality markers: "analytical," "empathetic," "risk-tolerant," "structured," and so on. We then compare your tags against everyone else's using a similarity algorithm (Jaccard similarity, if you're curious) to find the people whose thinking patterns most overlap with yours.

The result: a compatibility score that means something. Not "you're both into hiking." More like "you both instinctively prioritize loyalty over honesty when they conflict, and you both process conflict by going quiet before engaging."

After completing a quiz, you get a personality label — a human-readable summary of your dominant traits:

The "How Well Do You Know Me?" Feature

One of our favorite features lets you flip the quiz around. Instead of answering questions about yourself to find new people, you answer questions about yourself to test the people already in your life.
