Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using PersAura, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Who can use PersAura

You must be at least 18 years old to use PersAura. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when signing up
  • Not share your account with others
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use PersAura to harass, impersonate, or harm others
  • Submit false or misleading quiz answers to manipulate matches
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform
  • Use automated tools or bots to interact with the service
  • Post or transmit any unlawful, offensive, or harmful content

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Payments

Some features require a one-time payment. By making a purchase:

  • You authorise us to charge the stated amount via Stripe
  • Payments are non-refundable unless required by applicable law
  • Prices are displayed in EUR and may vary by region

6. Your content

Your quiz answers and profile information remain yours. By submitting them, you grant PersAura a licence to use this data to operate the matching service — including showing your personality results to matched users.

7. Our content

All quizzes, content, and features created by PersAura are our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without permission.

7. Your quiz answers

By submitting quiz answers, you agree that:

  • Your answers and personality results may be shown to other users as part of the matching experience
  • Your anonymised answers may be used in aggregate to improve PersAura's quiz content and matching algorithms
  • You are submitting answers voluntarily and accurately

8. Not a scientific tool

PersAura is designed for fun and social discovery. You acknowledge that:

  • Personality results, compatibility scores, archetypes, and match suggestions are not scientifically validated
  • They do not constitute psychological, medical, or professional advice of any kind
  • Compatibility scores are based on quiz answers only and do not guarantee real-world compatibility
  • You should not make important life decisions based on your PersAura results

9. Your responsibility when interacting with others

PersAura connects you with other real people. You are solely responsible for how you interact with them. We expect all users to:

  • Treat other users with respect, regardless of compatibility results
  • Not use PersAura matches as a basis for harassment, unsolicited contact, or discrimination
  • Use good judgment in how you engage with people you meet through the platform
  • Understand that a high compatibility score does not create any obligation on either party

PersAura is not responsible for the conduct of its users toward one another, or for any outcomes — positive or negative — that arise from connections made through the platform.

10. Disclaimers

PersAura is provided "as is". We do not guarantee:

  • That you will find compatible matches
  • Uninterrupted or error-free access to the service
  • The accuracy or reliability of personality results or compatibility scores

PersAura is for entertainment and social discovery — not a psychological assessment tool.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PersAura is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

12. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes. Continued use of PersAura after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union, including the GDPR where applicable. If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first at hello@persaura.com so we can resolve it informally. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the EU member state in which you reside, or as required by applicable consumer protection law.

15. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PersAura regarding your use of the service. They supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
